About Me

My photo
I have been in the newspaper and website business for over 40 years. I am a fan of NASCAR and saltwater fishing. I graduated from Westminster High School and attended Frederick Communty College. I was a member of National Press Photographers Association, Eastern Motorsports Press Association, Carroll County Oldtimes Baseball Association and AP Photo Managers. I am retired now. I would appreciate any comments or just to let me know you stopped by, thanks!

First Time

I spent the last week during something I have never done before. Going on a cruise. It was my first and Shirley's fourth. We were invited along with my brother, Wayne and his wife, Laura and some of her family. We left out of Baltimore for a trip to Florida and the Bahamas. I have been on the Atlantic Ocean a few times fishing, but this was overnight and I wouldn't be holding a fishing rod. It was an easy drive to the dock for the Carnival Pride. It was different seeing Baltimore from the water. It was neat passing Fort McHenry and thinking of the attack in 1812. Passing under the Key Bridge which you hear on traffic reports. The images were taken leaving and returning to Baltimore. There will be quite a few entries this week about the trip which we both enjoyed. We had stops at Coca Beach in Florida and Nassau and Freeport in the Bahamas. So sit back and enjoy some of the images I took on the trip.
