The End of Fall

I know, it's been over a week since my last post. I have been busy with Christmas and other items. One of the items is work. I don't like to call it work, because it is so much fun. When you get a chance check out eldersburg.patch. com or westminster.patch.com The people are great and the idea from AOL is great. Enough about Patch other then to tell you, you can check out all of the site at Patch.com

Winter has started and we are waiting for the snow to arrive today. We had a White Christmas which was nice. The fall images include a lot of leaves, some incests that would come out on warm afternoons, a full moon in November, the deer in the back yard, milkweed on wild roses hips, frost on leaves and raindrops on crab apples.

A Final Look at Ocean City

This is the last posting of Ocean City for 2010. As cold as it has been, many daydreams place us at the beach. The weatherman says there is a chance of up to four inches at Ocean City today. I have always wanted to shoot the beach with a covering of snow, since I saw a picture of the Outer Banks back in the early 1990s. I liked the shark on the Boardwalk as it looked like it was going to eat a sea gull. I should have stood there longer, to get the bird closer, but I was hungry after the trip down. The clouds were great while we were at the beach and as I said before, I loved the fence around the dunes.

Surprise Snow

Well, I was going to share the last Ocean City post or some fall images, but we got a surprise today. Snow! Yes, I know it's been cold enough all week and the ground is frozen, but the weatherman said it would be partly sunny. I wonder if he is free to shovel the sunny off the driveway. We had to go to Westminster this morning and it took a while to get home. I trip to the big city is usually a 20 minute ride, but this afternoon it was 90 minutes. There were cars along the road and some in ditches as we came down MD 97 which looked like a parking lot at times. You can see more of the snow images at eldersburg.patch.com
