September Song

I was disappointed when I heard September Song would not be held this year. The shows are always first rate. The production always said fall was here to me. I always looked forward to shooting dress rehearsal. I got to shoot about 10 out of the 38 shows they held. Sports and other duties kept me from shooting the assignment every year. I always felt like Santa missed my house when I didn't get to shoot it. By the way, I love to shoot plays. It keeps you on your toes with the characters moving and the changing light. I should add that I like musicals, so it was fun to shoot while singing along. So I was happy to hear they were holding a revue this year. I didn't get to cover it, but I know they are working to return next year. The past few years they have performed at Century. The revue is Saturday night at Carroll Arts Center in Westminster. I quickly grabbed some images from some of the shows I have shot. They are Showboat, 1976; Man of Lamancha, 1986; Camelot, 1987; Hello Dolly, 1988; Sound of Music, 1989; Annie, 1998; Hello Dolly, 2003; Anything Goes, 2007 and Annie Get Your Gun, 2008.
