One of the things I like to do in the Spring is take a walk in the woods. I walked recently behind the house in Eldersburg. It reminded me of when I was younger and would take walks with my Uncle Floyd. He would point out trees and plants and was a good learning experience. Of course there are a few stories about the walks which will have to wait for another time. Everything is new and fresh in the Spring as the skunk cabbage, jack in the pulpit, buttercup and other plants come into bloom.
