The white stuff finally stopped falling around 3:15 p.m. Now comes the part of cleaning up for the next one. The weatherman is already talking about another round of snow Tuesday night. The sun made an appearance late in the day. Bartholow Road in Eldersburg was one lane for most of the day and Cherry Tree Lane wasn't much better. It is proably how most of the roads in Carroll County look. There was some drifting snow on both of the roads as I went out for a walk. While you are outside the quiet is broken by the sound of what sounds like a gun going off, but it is only trees and limbs coming down. So besides running a snow blower, some people are having to also use a chain saw. It looks like we have around 30 inches on the ground. In 20 years the young people like our granddaughters can say "It doesn't snow like it did when I was young'' and they would be right.
