Horses on an Island
I shared some images from Assateague Island last week, but I didn't show you any horses. So you probably wondered if we saw any. We did on both trips. The first trip the horses appeared after going around a curve. They were just enjoying the sunshine while grazing along the road. We could hear more horses eating in the high bush. We hadn't stopped at the visitor center yet, so we weren't aware that they suggest you stay away from the horses by the distance of a bus. We used that rule on the second trip in the rain. We shot from the vehicle and was able to capture some nice images. The horses we saw were in the national seashore park. I look forward to returning in the future for more photographs.

Focused on a Loved One
While I got to see and photograph some things for a first times on the visit to Ocean City, there was one subject I had aimed at my camera at before. The love of my life, Shirley. I have been to the beach with her before, but was able to get some nice images on this trip. I love candid pictures over posed ones and I was able to get some good ones of her. A lot of the images where taken after I said ``Hey'' and she looked up. I love the shot of her sitting by the beach in the early morning. The light was amazing, but so is she. Time away is a good time to focus your camera on a loved one to preserve memories.
