Gettysburg

Shirley and I were in Gettysburg recently and of course had to make a trip through the battlefield. We need to go on a day trip to spend more time on the battlefield. I love to photograph barns in Carroll County and you can see they caught my eye in Gettysburg.

Morning Walk

One morning this week after completing some chores, I took my Nikon for a walk around the yard. There were some bees and butterflies busy visiting the flowers. Not as many as past summers. I watched the birds while on the stroll and watched a pair feed their offspring in one of the birdhouses Shirley has hung in the yard. A chipmunk kept running out to gather a meal from under the bird feeder. Speaking of birds, they beat me to the berries this year.
