Joy of Summer

One of the joys of summer is watching butterflies. They jump fly by on way from flower to flower without a care in the world. There doesn't seem to be as many as there used to be.

Saturday's Bible Verse

Enjoy the weekend and have fun today. The image was captured in Eldersburg.

What Bugs You

The neighbor boys came over and asked if I wanted to photograph a cicada killer. So it got me thinking of some of the images I have taken of nature in the past couple of weeks in the insect world which included butterflies to even a snail. These were all taken in Eldersburg.

Morning Walk

One morning this week after completing some chores, I took my Nikon for a walk around the yard. There were some bees and butterflies busy visiting the flowers. Not as many as past summers. I watched the birds while on the stroll and watched a pair feed their offspring in one of the birdhouses Shirley has hung in the yard. A chipmunk kept running out to gather a meal from under the bird feeder. Speaking of birds, they beat me to the berries this year.
