More Maryland Renaissance Festival

After taking another look at my Maryland Renaissance Festival I saw more images I wanted to share. I am a people watcher which can be seen in these images. You will also see that the people are having fun by the amount of smiles. The festival is in Crownsville, MD on the weekends through the end of October.

Maryland Renaissance Festival

The Maryland Renaissance Festival was something I always wanted to attend and now we have been twice in the last three years. This year's festival kicked off today and it's children's weekend. Kids under 11 get in free. This is the 34th year of the festival. What I remembered from two years ago was the food, music, sights and photo opportunities. There is something different to eat no matter where you turn which is also true of the music. The faces and color is eye catching. I can't begin to describe the sights of the many people dressed up period clothes. I would love to go back for the Irish or Scottish weekends. Shirley has a deep Scottish family background and loves Irish music too.
