Kids grow up so fast and I mean fast in a few different ways. Yes, they seem to grow like weeds, but Chase Elliot is also fast on the track. Elliott is the youngest champion in NASCAR history as he captured the Nationwide Series title Saturday at Phoenix. The 18-year-old is following in his father's footsteps. Yes, his father is that Elliot, Billk. A former champion himself, Bill is a Hall of Fame inductee. Chase graduated from high school in May and races for JR Motorsports. I was thinking and said to myself, ``Hey, I told his picture a few times at the track.'' The images above where taken at a July race at Pocono Raceway as his father was getting ready for the start.
