I had the pleasure of shooting the Hero Rush Saturday at High Point Farm in Clarksburg, MD. I do mean it was a pleasure. I shot a Zombie run last fall and this was just as much fun. The course is between three and five miles long with obstacles. There are 17 obstacles on the course with names like Hoarder's Hell (that's the images with smoke out of a building), Basement Entrapped (folks climbing and walking down hoses) Bystander Blast (people in a pool of water with folks spraying them with hoses) and Fearless Finish (image of a lady jumping a fire) which is the end of the course. On their web site the fire themed event is called `` The most unique race you will ever do. A HEROIC experience. Hero Rush is tough and crazy fun.'' I also enjoyed the bright red, shiney fire equipment. I guess I should have been a firemen instead of chasing fire engines for a living. lol. There was also a run for younger folks from age 7-13. If interested next year's race is slated for May 3.
