New Addition
Shirley and I welcomed a new addition to our home yesterday. Gabby is an eight-week old Jack Russell puppy. She seemed right at home within 24 hours. Gabby is getting along great with Haley, who is 10 years old. The cat, Sam is another matter. Sam hisses when ever he hears or sees the puppy. Time is on Gabby's side and I am sure she will win Sam over. Sam curls up in bed with Haley at times and I am sure that will happen with Gabby.

Rain
It rained this morning and I mean it rained, hard. The dog didn't even want to go outside and the cat ran for cover in the basement. When it slowed down, the dog and I went out. Of course my camera went along and I grabbed a few images before it started to come down again. The first couple of images are a drainage area that is behind the house.

Spider Webs
I am used to seeing spider webs outside this time of year, but this year there seems to be more than usual. It's like nature is get dressed for Halloween. I took a walk around the yard shooting the webs and spiders. I walked through one the other day taking the dog for a walk. The spider was swinging on a web attached to my glasses like Tarzan in front of my eyes. The more bugs they eat the better.

Cunningham Falls
I have driven by Cunningham Falls and the park many times, but never stopped in. That changed Sunday, when Shirley said let's go for a walk at the falls. We walked over three miles for the day, but had a great time. We got outside together and enjoyed nature. I wished I would have remembered to take my tripod, but I would like to go back when the leaves are changing.
