Dancing With the Stars

Sunday afternoon found Shirley and I enjoying our granddaughter's ballet show at Century High School. The Stepping Stones Dance Program puts on the annual show after the girls have had weekly classes since school opened. It's great to see how the dancers improve every year. Outside of watching our granddaughter dance, seeing the young dancers in their first or second show is great. They watch the moves that the older helpers are performing, they also like to wave to family as they take the stage. Of course being a photographer I shot through the whole show. This year's show was "A Celestial Journey".

Rain Drops

When it starts to rain most people head for shelter or open an umbrella, I head for my camera. Droplets on leaves and flowers are some of the things I love to shoot. Don't let the dark, gray and wet keep you from capturing some images. You can work under trees, work from the porch or wait until the rain lets up some. These group of images were shot around the yard in Eldersburg.

Party Time

First I shared the decor from the The Girlzone, now here are some images of the grandchildren at the party. The girls had a great time as they got to do some of their favorite things, like make-up, dress up, nails painted, cupcakes, friends and dance. It was our first time there and the girls at the party had a great time as you can see by their faces.

The GirlZone

I'm old enough to remember when you wanted to shop you went to Main Street. Now a days everyone runs to a mall, box store or a strip mall and tends to forget about Main Street. Sunday, we were able to find a hidden gem on Main Street in Sykesville. One of the granddaughters had a get together for her birthday at "The GirlZone". The six girls were treated to a mini manicure, dress up, make-up along with games before having cupcakes and ice cream. The decor in the shop is great, which I had fun capturing as you get to see here. The shop offers a lot of pampering for all ages. If you are looking for something different for a daughter or yourself check out the The GirlZone at 7540 Main Street or check them out at http://www.girlzonehome.com/.
