I posted some images of birds the other week and you can't take a picture of the feathered friends without noticing the squirrels. Shirley brought squirrel proof feeders, but they still climb over them looking for a way in. Our cat, Sam has a lot of interest on the life on the other side of the window. He watches the birds, but nothing gets him excited like a squirrel. The squirrels visit the plate of peanuts Shirley has in front of the windows and try to beat the blue jays to the nuts. We have a heated bird bath this year and the squirrels sometimes stand in it to drink.
