Here and There

With the weatherman saying it was going to rain, I wanted to shoot a few more images before the snow was gone. To me, rain on top of snow is depressing, everything is gray. So I shot a few more images in the Eldersburg area Sunday and Monday, including a sunrise over Liberty Road. Now the weatherman says we may get another five to six inches of snow this week.

Geese

Geese or Canadian Goose, no matter what you call them, I love to take photographs of them. I was watching Emma as she was waiting for a ride to a play day with a friend. Ian called and said there was a hundred or two geese in a field along White Rock Road. So after Emma left, I headed to White Rock Road, west of Eldersburg. I wasn't disappointed as Ian was correct there was a big flock of geese in a corn field covered with snow. I plan to return a few times to get more images of the birds. I would love to shoot them at sunset. I missed a good shot on the way back from Gettysburg when the sun was setting the other day, so now I am pumped up about this cornfield.

Back to Gettysburg

I went to Gettysburg again Saturday. I was joined by Ian and Emma as we headed out to visit Uncle Wayne and Aunt Laura. We went to Boyd Bear Country and enjoyed lunch before heading back to Littlestown. I gave my camera a workout on the way as we made a couple stops. One of the stops was a covered bridge near Gettysburg. I also captured a few barns and landscape before visiting my brother and his wife. With the snow it gives a completely different view, even to scenes I have shot before. I would like to get another shot or two of Adams Country before the snow disappeared.
