I Can Fly

People believe that you have to travel to the big city to take in a quality play. That thought was thrown out the window Saturday night at Liberty High School. We took in the production of Peter Pan preformed by the Liberty High School Upstagers. It was great, with plenty of action to keep little ones riveted to their seats. Yes, Peter Pan takes to the air and flies along with the Darling children. There is much humor in the play to have the adults laughing out loud. The play is directed by Tony Cimino, who can be seen in the images addressing the crowd. He said it was largest crowd for opening night at the school with over 700 people in attendance. If you are looking for something to do this week, I highly recommend traveling to Eldersburg to take in the play. The lights go down at 7 p.m. on Nov. 11, 12 and 13. If you have little ones, I suggest taking in the backstage pass which is an hour before the curtain goes up. You get a view of the set, lighting and meet the characters, along with getting their autographs and posing for a group photograph with them. I know I gushed about their Spring play ``High School Musical'' in an earlier post this year, but this is one show you don't want to miss. The cast got a standing ovation at the end of the play and deserved it.

Down the Ocean

Now you know why there were no posts over the last week.  We were enjoying ourselves at Ocean City.  I always wanted to go to Ocean City in the off season to see what it looked like. Outside a visit this summer, when I went to the ocean it was for fishing and when I won a flounder tournament one summer. When I was younger and I do mean younger I spent a few trips at the Sunset View Motel which I believe was around 48th Street.  It was quiet and peaceful for walks along the Boardwalk and beach.  I will post other images over the next week.

Fall and a Fence

I carry the camera with me also every time I walk for the paper in the morning.  I pass a fence on my way that always catches my eye.  So for over a week a shot the fence and the leaves changing.  Yes, it's the fence that appeared in snow images last winter.
